 Bedding Plants
Whether your green thumb’s itching for a big job like full-scale landscaping or just to park a few pretty planters around your home you’ll be glad you met us. At DeBruin’s you’ll find hardy annual and perennial bedding plants, herbs ready for transplant, dazzling hanging baskets and trees and shrubs selected for our climate. We also carry black dirt, tri-mix and natural fertilizers to get you started.
Custom Planters
Bring us your empty pots and baskets and we’ll plant them according to request, then hold your creations in the greenhouse until you’re ready to take them home. Got an idea for how to use colours or specific plants? Contact us and we’ll help you make it a reality.
 Old Friends and New Recruits
We love bringing in new plants and testing them in our climate, and we know the value of established tried-and-true varieties. That’s why at DeBruin’s you’ll find an eclectic variety ranging from marigolds, lilacs and rose bushes to Ice Plants and heliotrope. Concerned about trying something new in your yard? Ask us about it – we’ll have tested it out the year previous and can advise you on the best way to care for your new baby.
North-Hardy
Every spring we begin carefully treating our bedding plants by exposing them gradually to the ups and downs in temperature of our unpredictable Thunder Bay springs. This means that your new plants should be able to resist late chills and high winds. Talk to us if you’re concerned about the best time to plant. Looking to shop early?
